OpenCON — Delete your account

OpenCON is a conference platform developed and operated by Digital Cube d.o.o., Belgrade, Serbia. Each conference uses its own edition of the OpenCON app. This page covers the edition OpenCON - SFSCON (iOS, Android and the web app at https://sfscon.opencon.dev), the companion app of SFSCON 2026 — South Tyrol Free Software Conference, organised by NOI Techpark Südtirol/Alto Adige.

You can delete your account of the app (iOS and Android, published by Digital Cube d.o.o.) and of the matching web app yourself, at any time. It is the same account in both places, so deleting it once is enough. The deletion is immediate and cannot be undone, and every sign-in session of the account ends.

In the app

  1. Open the Menu (☰).
  2. Tap My profile.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Enter your password and confirm.

On the web

  1. Sign in at https://sfscon.opencon.dev.
  2. Open the user menu and choose Delete account (or go straight to https://sfscon.opencon.dev/en/me/delete-account — the page only works while you are signed in).
  3. Enter your password and confirm.

By e-mail

If you cannot use the app or the website, ask for the deletion by e-mail to info@sfscon.it from the address registered on the account (mentioning your username helps). We delete the account within 30 days.

What is deleted

Your profile (name, e-mail, phone, organisation, profile photo), your sign-in sessions, push tokens and notification settings, starred sessions, calendar feed, conference ticket and check-ins, assistant conversations, and the photos, videos and comments you posted to the album (including the files themselves).

What is kept, anonymised

Your session ratings, poll votes, questions (and answers in a question's thread), question upvotes and your answer to the conference feedback question are anonymised, not deleted: they stay with the session so its results and Q&A still add up, but the link to your account is cut, your name is removed from them and a question asked under your name becomes anonymous. Nothing left can be traced back to you.

If you are a speaker, your public speaker profile is part of the programme and stays; it is no longer linked to your account — write to info@sfscon.it if you want it removed.

Deleting single items instead

You do not have to delete the whole account to remove some data: your own photos, comments, stars and assistant conversations can be deleted one by one in the app.
